An evening at Woodcock Smokery
Time: 7 pm to 9.30 pm
Join us for an evening with Sally Barnes at Woodcock Smokery. On arrival, you will be greeted with a welcome drink and snack before sitting down to a long table supper of smoked wild fish, salads, West Cork cheeses, bread, pickles and more.
“What a wonderful experience! Sally was a delight, and her stories were informative as well as interesting… really makes you think about sustainability and caring for this earth. The smoked fish and other food was delicious and beautifully presented, and much more to eat than we expected. Make sure to check out the “loo with a view”!” Paula
This is a beautiful evening to reconnect with Ireland’s vibrant culinary heritage and hear stories from internationally acclaimed Sally Barnes.
Our spacious tasting room, known as The Keep, is designed for indoor/outdoor use. It is located on a hill near Castletownshend, near a 4000-year-old ring fort. The views of the rural landscape, the cosy atmosphere, the sheep’s skins, and the outdoor heaters make it a fantastic and beautiful experience.
If you have any dietary requirements, we’d be happy to accommodate them as best we can. Please let us know when booking.
