Delivery and Returns

Policy effective from Friday, July 16, 2024

IRELAND DELIVERY

We offer free delivery on all orders over €100 on the island of Ireland.

For deliveries under €100 within Ireland, €7 delivery fee applies.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY

UK

Unfortunately, we cannot ship directly to the UK due to Brexit. In the near future, UK customers can buy from Neal’s Yard Dairy online store.

Europe

We offer free delivery on all orders over €400 to Europe.

For orders under €400 to Europe, a €35 delivery fee applies. Packages may be subject to import taxes and duties; these are the responsibility of the recipient.

Rest of the World

For all orders outside Europe, a €50 delivery fee applies. Packages may be subject to import taxes and duties; these are the responsibility of the recipient.

Please provide an email address and mobile number on checkout to ensure fast and efficient delivery. Once your order is sent, our delivery partners will email you with your tracking number.

DISPATCH

Please make sure you enter the full, correct delivery address with Eircode and mobile number. As soon as the parcel leaves Woodcock Smokery, we accept no responsibility for changing the address. If you choose to contact the carrier to divert to a different address, you do so at your own risk. We only ship to the address provided on the order. This does not affect your statutory rights.

If you are not at the address provided and do not collect your item from the courier/post office within the timeframe given, the package will be returned to us. You will incur additional charges if the package has to be sent out a second time.

If you think you’ve made an error when entering the shipping address, email us or reply to your order confirmation email immediately, and we will amend it with your instructions.

We aim to process and dispatch orders within 1-3 days - preferred shipping days are Mondays and Tuesdays. In the event that a product is not available, we will make contact with you and either offer a suitable replacement, a new date for delivery or a refund.

During the Christmas season, delivery times may take longer. We advise you to pre-order early and select a delivery date available.

Orders will be dispatched between Monday and Tuesday. Orders placed from Wednesday to Sunday or a bank holiday Monday will be dispatched on Monday and/or Tuesday.

Deliveries within Ireland usually take 1-4 days to reach their destination. International orders can take up to 14 days to arrive.

DELIVERY PARTNERS

All orders are sent with An Post or UPS depending on the time of delivery and the size of package.

An Post

  • Some small and medium bundles and gift items are delivered in Ireland and Northern Ireland with An Post.

  • Some small shop items are delivered in Ireland with An Post. This is a letterbox-friendly service, so there is no need for signed delivery.

  • Please allow 1 - 4 days for delivery for orders within Ireland and Northern Ireland.

International Orders - UPS

  • All boxes, bundles, and gift items are delivered internationally by UPS service and their delivery partners around the world.

  • Once your order is sent, you will be contacted via email with your tracking number.

  • For international orders, please allow up to 14 days for delivery.

RETURNS

Due to the nature of smoked fish, we do not offer a return unless there is a problem with the items. This does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

If you want to return merchandise, you can do this once it is within 30 days of purchase. Items must be in their original condition with a note quoting your order number. We will issue a full refund, excluding postage costs, as soon as we receive the item in its original condition. We will not cover the cost of postage for returning the order to us.

If your item is damaged due to delivery mishandling, please return it to us within one–week of receiving the order, and we will send you a replacement item at no cost to you.

If you wish to exchange merchandise, please return it to us within 30 days of purchase in its original condition. As soon as we receive the item and are happy with its condition, we can change the size of the item if you wish. Please note exchanges will incur additional postage costs to and from Woodcock Smokery.

Any personalised items with notes, etc, cannot be returned or exchanged. This does not affect your statutory rights.
