Full—and half-day courses on the art of curing and smoking wild fish are designed to be prepared in the comfort of your home using equipment readily available in the kitchen. Masterclasses cover either cold and/or hot smoking. They are educational, fun, and thought-provoking.

 

EVENING SUPPERS

Join us for an evening at Woodcock Smokery. On arrival, you will be greeted with a welcome drink and snack before sitting at a long table supper of seasonal local artisan produce. It is a beautiful evening to connect with Ireland’s vibrant culinary heritage and hear stories from Sally Barnes.

Sally Ferns-Barnes is one of the key figures in Ireland's food renaissance of the last forty-plus years. Alongside other pioneer women in the Irish food community, Sally has ensured that Ireland's indigenous food culture is celebrated and experienced by locals, visitors, and international tourists. As a member of Slow Fish, Sally is also a world-renowned ocean activist, educator and speaker.
